america reads the bible: a return to god’s word
Last week, Christians Engaged hosted the largest Bible-reading event in our nation’s history. From Genesis to Revelation, 500 leaders from across the country read from the Word of God. From all spheres of influence - government leaders, ministry leaders, actors, and media personalities from all denominations came together to speak the Word of God over our nation.
discipleship
What is true discipleship? Discipleship today is overcomplicated by the American church. But in reality, it’s something very simple that we are all called as believers in Christ to do. We are to be disciples and make disciples!

identity in christ: made in the image of god
What does it mean to be made in the image of God
We are a reflection of some of the attributes of God – we cannot in our humanity reflect all His attributes as He is the only one who is God. However, He made us to reflect some of His attributes in order to reflect His nature in our world. There are ways in which our nature is reflective of God’s, especially in our spiritual nature.
christmas is an act of war
I love Christmas. It is my favorite time of year, and I anticipate it all year long. The music, the movies, the cold weather, the hot cocoa, it’s all magical. Yet none of this compares to the true joy of the season – the birth of Christ.
returning to god’s word
Our culture has slowly adopted principles that go against God’s Word. We’ve seen abortions, transgenderism, and illegal immigration rise over time because our country has increasingly drifted from biblical values – and our society has suffered as a result.
If we rooted ourselves in the Bible, lived out those values daily, and encouraged those same values in the culture around us, including in our government, how much better off would we be?
3 ways to become a godly leader
A godly leader is strengthened by spending time with God in prayer and reading scripture. It may sound like your typical Sunday School answer – but spending time with God will make it clear what you are called to do.
remembering charlie kirk: the rise of a generation for christ
Almost two weeks ago, Charlie Kirk, the Founder of Turning Point USA, was publicly and gruesomely murdered. An entire generation of young men and women looked up to him as he toured college campuses engaging in debate and standing for truth.
Like many across the country, I have been grieving. I have asked myself, “Why am I struggling with the death of a man I never met?” I was not a loyal follower – just someone who occasionally watched clips of his debates on social media. Yet his death hit like a gut punch. To see someone so young – a husband, a father of two, engaging in peaceful debate – struck down by the bullet of a troubled young man felt like looking in the face of evil.
3 ways to pray for America
Praying for our nation may seem unimportant. In the midst of our most troubled seasons we often make prayer a last resort. If we pray, we tend to pray for ourselves and our circumstances. But what if we brought everything before the Lord? What if we had such a close relationship with Christ that we prayed for not only our personal desires, but for the good of others and our nation as a whole?
